I'm looking for any information relating to Maggie Douglas (born 5-17-1879) and Samuel Anderson (born 1878) near the area of Drumachose Parish, in Limaverty, County Derry.  They were married in 1907 and had three children, Samuel (birth ?), Jennie (born 1908) and James (born 1910).

  • What are you actually looking for?

I can see their marriage in 1907 online - his father was called James and I can see them in the 1911 Census in Church View, Limavady, which is still there opposite Drumachose church:

  • Dear Boydgray26,

I am sorry I did not reply  to you sooner, but I never received an e-mail that anyone had responded to my posting.  To answer your question, I am looking for anything and everything regarding the Anderson and Douglas families. At the moment I know so little about where they lived, worked, went to school etc.  Ultimately it would be great if I could find some of their relatives in Ireland.

I appreciate the information you included in your posting.  All pieces of information will lead me to the next clue and closer to learning more about the family that i never knew.  I'm doing my research from Boston, Massachusetts so I have to rely on materials that are available online, or passed along through websites like IrelandXO.

Thank you for all your help; I really appreciate your taking the time to do some family research for me.

    Sincerely,

    Theresa Coen Barisano
