George McLaughlin, born 1773, and wife, Jane, born 1782, left Londonderry with their daughter Mary Jane, born 1820, on the Brig Powhatan, arriving in New York on 16 Jun 1835.  They moved to Coshocton County, Ohio where their sons had already settled.  The sons born in Ireland: George, born 15 Aug 1805; Samuel, born 18 Apr 1813; James, born 17 Apr 1816.  All these children were in Ohio before their parents arrived in 1835.  Samuel is my great-great-grandfather and worked building railroads.  He married Mary Ann Ross.
