Looking for info on a Wm Spence, married Martha Eager in Blesington Church, County Wicklow Oct 9 1832. was a farmer at 3 Castles, Blesington, Under Marquis of Downshire- also a quarryman who quarried the granite to build local buildings there. emigrated to Canada, sailing 1834- April 17 I would like to know the name of the ship. I believe Wm. Spence's father is one Rev. Robert Spence born 1705 and died 1763 . Story has it he may have been part of the Donaghmore Parish , County of Donegal , Diocese of Derry. I am his great- great- great grandson and would like to trace this family in Ireland. Church records regarding births , marriages and or deaths will be greatly appreciated . Your members assistance will be Most appreciated as I am not overly familiar with researching . Many thanks .

I don't believe he was Roman Catholic , the earliest record here in Canada has the Spence family as being Methodist . I shall attempt to do as you suggested . Thank you .
