Bernard Coyl/Coyle b 1828 County Donegal.  Married Elizabeth ___ who was born about 1830.  They emigrated to America about 1850.

Coalminer, he followed the work: Ironton, Ohio, Johnstown, PA, southwestern PA.

Had 6 children:

Daniel born about 1853 PA.  Remained single. Died 1930

Hugh J. b about 1854 Johnstown, PA  Married Mahala Rogers.  Had a daughter Catherine Amy.  A sheriff, Hugh was killed in the line of duty 6 Aug 1892

John 15 Dec 1856.  Became a doctor.  Lived in Coal Hill, Johnson Co., Arkansas.  Married Alice Harmon.  Died 14 Oct 1895.

James b about 1859 Ohio.  1st groundskeeper for the Pittsburgh Buccaneers at Old Exposition Park.  Remained single.  He and his brother Daniel lived out the remainder of their lives with their brother's widow Margaret Ellen Dougherty Coyle in Carnegie, PA.  Died 11 March 1934

Bernard Norman born about 1862.  Moved to Anaconda, Montana

Patrick Joseph born 20 March 1864 Ironton, Lawrence Co., Ohio.  Coalminer.  Married Margaret Ellen Dougherty 23 June 1889.  Had 10 children.  Died 1926
