There's a book called The Tory Islanders - A people on the Celtic Fringe by Robin Fox.  It actually has a family tree of the people of Tory going back a few hundred years.  Your relative might be in it if you can find a copy.  I have one but I'm away from home at the moment and won't be home for a few weeks.  My grandmother was Catherine "Kitty" Rodgers and she is in the book.
