William McCrea (b.~1792 Co. Donegal) married (possibly in Drumhome~ 1818) Jane Elliot (b.?1788 ?1790). It would have been in a Protestant church but am not certain if it would be Church of Ireland or Presbyterian. Their daughter, Susannah was born in 1819 and in 1820 the family came to New Brunswick, Canada.
Information about the family of Jane Elliot would be most helpful. One source says that she was the daughter of William Elliot (b. 1760 in Drumhome) and Margaret Love (b. 1763 Drumhome). However, I have recently found information stating that they are the parents of a Jane Elliot who came to live in Quebec, Canada.

For the period you are interested in you need to rely heavily on church records. If the family were church of Ireland then the Drumhome records start in 1719. However if they were Presbyterian then unfortunately they have no records earlier than 1824.
The Drumhome Church of Ireland records are on the rootsireland site. Rootsireland has a marriage for a William McCrea in Donegal in 1818, but he doesn?t seem to have married a Jane Elliot. So presumably not your family.

Elliotts in Donegal: William Elliott, 1759- married ( Jul 25, 1784) Margaret Love, Mar 29, 1761 Kirkoswald, Ayrshire, Scotland-May 3, 1840, Drumholm Graveyard, Donegal. They had a daughter, Jane born in 1786, baptized on April 30, 1788, Drumholm. She married Thomas Pearson on April 15, 1806, Clogher. I have not been able to trace this family to Canada ( if they came?) . Many ancestry.ca records state that Jane married ( 1804, Donegal) Alexander Hyndman, 1784-1867, Ascot Quebec. While the marriage record with Thomas Pearson is part of Drumholm records, there are many reports on ancestry.ca that Jane did die on Jul 24, 1861, Lennoxville, Quebec. I have not uncovered any death certificates to date. Any assistance with the Pearson-Elliott connection will be appreciated. Jane's sister, Elizabeth Margaret Elliott, born April 30, 1788, baptiazed Oct 12, 1790 also is reported to have died in 1867 in Lennoxville, Quebec.
