Searching for Alexander Stewart (born approx 1835) in the village of Dunfanaghy, son of Mary Hanna & Samuel Stewart.

What denomination was Alexander? (You will need to rely on church records so we need that information).

Alexander Stewart was Church of Ireland. We are also researching Patersons, Montgomery and Sayers who were also COI.

Sadly the early Church of Ireland records for Dunfanaghy were lost in the 1922 fire and they have nothing before 1873. The parish is Clondahorkey. You might find some information on your families on this site:
