I have been to Letterkenny since my last post was posted. Believe my Elliott's came from Creeve Glebe, just outside Letterkenny. Met a man by the name of Spratt, his mother had been an Elliott, He looked amazingly like my father. The Spratt man may have come down from Stephen Elliott and Prudence Elliott (same surname) , married 1862 in District of Milford. I believe Stephen Elliott was from Creeve Glebe. I'm looking for my great great grandparents, James Elliott and Ann Clark. Married 4 Jan 1825 at Letterkenny Church of Ireland by Rev. Joseph Stopford. He is buried there, plot Number 60.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out and apologies for the delay in getting back to you. The only other James I have located in the civil parish of Leck is in the Tithe Applotment in 1834 though the Elliot name seems to have stayed in the area during the Griffith's period too:
