Richard Hughes b. circa 1788 and Ann(e) McQuaid b. circa 1791, were married circa 1815 in Templecarn, Donegal.  Son Thomas was born there circa 1818.  They emmigrated to Canada circa 1819 and lived for a time in Quebec Province before moving on to an area just north of London, Ontario.  Thomas later married Mary Ann Hughes, whose father, Joseph Hughes and Mother Elisha Bournes were from the area around Castleconner in Sligo.  I need to be able to prove that Richard and Ann were from the Templecarn area, and the names of parents and other ancestors.  Is that possible in local records?

According to Brian Mitchell's book " A Guide to Irish Parish Registers" Roman Catholic church records for Carn go back to 1836. The Church of Ireland records go back to 1825. I also checked the Tithe Applotment records but could not locate any for Templecarn parish.
