Agnes Marshall was my great-grandmother. She was born in Dromara 26 July 1838. Her parents were John Marshall and Susan McCance. Her father was born in Scotland. Likely that her mother was a Scot as well.
Agnes Marshall had at least three siblings all born in Dromara:
-Eliza Marshall born 02 January 1845
-James Marshall born 15 April 1848
-John Marshall born 02 May 1855
Agnes moved to Loughgilly at some point. She married George Halliday 20 July 1858 in Newtownhamilton (I have a copy of the marriage record). George Halliday was also born in Scotland.
Agnes and George Halliday settled in Crankey, County Armagh and had 4 children that I am aware of:
-Matilda Halliday born 24 June 1864
-Sarah Halliday born 18 January 1868
-William Halliday born about 1869
-James Halliday born 26 January 1873
James Halliday was my grandfather.
I am unable to find any record of Agnes' death.
If anyone has information on Agnes (Marshall) Halliday or her parents or siblings, please contact me.

Hi Rich,
Thank you for your message.
Have you tried looking in civil records for Agnes? death certificate? Civil registration became mandatory in Ireland in 1864 so her death should be recorded in these records. Civil records are available from the General Register?s Office in Dublin. Here is their website:
http://www.groireland.ie/research.htm
You can search the indexes to these records online at:
https://familysearch.org/search/collection/1408347
For more information on these records and how to obtain them check: http://www.irish-genealogy-toolkit.com/Irish-civil-registration.html
I hope that this is helpful.
Kind regards,
