I am looking for information on the Maginnis, Cromie and Martin families. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated! I have been working on my ancestry on and off for 13 years.
Here is what I have thus far:
I am the GGG granddaughter of James Maginnes b.approx1820 in Hollymount, County Down
James married Essie Cromie who was b. approx 1829 in Rathfriland, Drumgath, County Down
*I have been unable to determine who James and Essie's parents were and I do not have a marriage date for them.
daughter Essy Maginnes b. 8 April 1865 in Rathfriland, Drumgath, County Down
son William Maginnis b. 15 May 1847 (some records say 1849) is my GGgrandfather

William married (approx 1870 in Down) to Jane Martin b. 9 Dec 1847 Fareham, Hampshire, England (I do not know if tht is accurate. Her parents are possibly John Martin b. unknown and Jane McMackin b. unknown)
William Maginnis and Jane Martin had several children born in Rathfriland

Esther Maginnis b. 15 Oct 1888 in Clinton, Worcester, Mass (she is my Ggrandmother) d. 19 Dec 1967 Miami Florida m. Jessie Hare on 21 Jan 1905
Esther & Jessie Hare had several children in Massachusettes. One of them being Esther Gladys Hare b. 23 Oct 1922 Leominster MA d. 17 May 1971 Miami FL
Esther Hare was my grandmother, unfortunately she passed away before I was born.
