Seeking any information on the following: My GGGrandmother Alice Magone m Patrick Maginn in1893. Her parents were Rose Maginnis born in Drumgath Parish approx 1837 and Patrick Magone born in Clonallon in 1844. They lived on Cabragh Rd. Pat Maginn's parents were John Magin and Margaret McConvill. They lived on Cullion Rd in Clonallon. Your help is greatly appreciated. Cheers Suzy

The 1863 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Clonallan ciivl parish shows 8 Magone entries and they were all in the townland of Cabragh, http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths/down/clonallan.htm
Not sure who was the father of Patrick.
The Griffiths for Drumgath civil parish shows a number of McGuinness entries but no Maginnis entries. ( There were some Maginn entries).

Roots Ireland www.rootsireland.ie has an 1861 marriage record for a Patrick Magone and Rose Maginnis. The record was not from the Drumgath RC, C of I or Presbyterian parishes but I did not go through and find the exact parish. Roots is a pay site to view the transcription of the church record.
