I know that my line of the family came from Ballyboughal. They were Patrick Matthew Seaver and Teresa Maria Seaver (nee Locke, from The Naul) who immigrated to Australia in 1864. They took 2 daughters with them but two sons remained - Patrick and Joseph. My Patrick's father was also Patrick Seaver, who married Mary Dollard from Skerries in 1795. If anyone has any information I would be so grateful.

Hi,
Thanks for your message. I hope that someone recognises the name and is able to assist you!
In the meantime, I found a record of a Mary Seaver in Ballyboghil in the 1833 Tithe Applotment Books:
There are also a lot of Seavers in Balrothery which neighbours Ballyboghil.
You can also see what Seavers were recorded in Dublin in the later Griffith?s Valuation:
Irish Genealogy have church records from Dublin available online on their website, here are the records pertaining to Seavers in Dublin:
I did a search in the 1901 census records for Patrick and Joseph. There is a Patrick who could be the right age recorded in Balbriggan which again is in Balrothery parish:

None of the Joseph's in Dublin match:
I hope some of these links are helpful.
All the best,
