I located baptismal records for Anne and Margaret in Clontarf RC parish. The family was living in Ballymun. Are you sure that Keiran was born in 1871 since Anne was born in 1871? There is an 1877 civil birth index record in North Dublin for a Kieran Nolan.

Hello Roger. Thank you for your very prompt reply, My mistake,yes 1877 is correct. I already have the  information you have kindly sent me.  According to the 1901 Ireland Census,Ma,garet was a nun with the Sisters of Mercy and residing at Carysfort Avenue,Blackrock,Dublin . Would the affor mentioned address be the site of the Convent?  What do you think my chances are of contacting decendants of Kierans sisters.?There surely must be some. I do believe that there werealso Elizabeth and Catherine. and maybe more.  Thank you for your help. Yes the 1901 census address would be the site of the convent. I don't know how you would find descendants of the sisters if they married. One alternative is autosomal DNA testing and possibly you would match someone who came from this Nolan family.

Roger, Thank you for your help. I have found the Convent and a photo of same ,circa 1911.  It was Claryfort Convent at no.18. Margaret and three siblings were linving nect door at no.20. Regards Anne
