I am looking for descendants of my great-grandmother's family. I have located Robert Carroll and his family in the 1911 Census. They lived at 17 South Circular Road, South Side (Usher's Quay, Dublin)
The following are the family members living in the house at the time:
Robert Carroll age 52 Head of House
Ellen Maria Carroll age 56 spouse
Margaret F Carroll age 26 daughter
George A H Carroll age 22 son
Caroline A Carroll age 20 daughter
Mabel H Carroll age 19 daughter
Evelyn E Carroll age 16 daughter
Harriet V Carroll age 12 daughter
Peter L L Bowie age 23 (son-in-law) visitor
Florence M (Carroll) Bowie (daughter) visitor
I know that George Carroll and Peter Bowie left for the USA around 1913. Florence joined her husband around 1915. Peter and Florence are my great-grandparents. My family and I are visiting Ireland in June 2013 and would love to know if there are any family still living in Ireland.

Hi sir i have made a list of web sites that mite be useful to you in your seach good luck British parliamentary papers on Ireland can be found at: http://eppi.dippam.ac.uk/documents/9824/eppi_pages/215093 The National Archives of Irelandhttp://www.nationalarchives.ie/genealogy1/genealogy-records/introduction/ The National Library of Irelandhttp://www.nli.ie/en/family-history-introduction.aspx The National Archives UK ? genealogy search:http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/records/looking-for-person/ The Public Records Office of Northern Irelandhttp://www.proni.gov.uk/index/family_history.htm The US National Archives:http://www.archives.gov/ Irish Newspaper Archives:http://www.irishnewsarchive.com/ The next thing you could do is find the counties and places in Ireland your family names are mostprevalent. Look at the website http://www.irishtimes.com/ancestor/surname/ and perhapssomething will match some other clue you may have found elsewhere? If nothing turnsup ? it is advisable to try different variations of the spellings of the names. If you have a possiblefirst name you could try the Irish Census 1901, 1911 at www.census.nationalarchives.ie/ or the landvaluation record called Griffiths Valuationhttp://askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/index.xml
