Need info on Jane Riley b 1852 Dublin, possibly daughter of Thomas and Catherine Riley both b 1821 Ireland. She has two sisters: Catherine b 1843 and Alice b 1847, also born in Ireland.
Her brother George is born in 1854 near Liverpool and the family is located in Liverpool for the 1861 British Census. She marries unk Massey, about 1871 and has a child Louisa, then marries Michael Lynam about 1875. They emigrate to Pennsylvania (with seven children) about 1886.
Anything? Ring any bells? Thanks so very much.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your message. I hope that someone who knows of the family or has information on them makes a connection with you.
In the meantime, do you have any other information that you can share? Thomas? occupation? Religious denomination? Were they from County Dublin or Dublin City? It will really help in your search if you can narrow down a place of origin as most Irish records sources are based on specific locations usually a parish.
If they were from Dublin City, you may be able to find some church records relating to them on the Irish Genealogy website. They have recently begun a project to upload church records free of charge, its an ongoing project so only a small number of areas have been completed so far but Dublin city is one of these.

www.familysearch.org also have some records available, as do www.rootsireland.ie however the latter website is not free.
Some other websites that you may find useful are:
The National Archives of Ireland http://www.nationalarchives.ie/genealogy1/genealogy-records/introduction/
The National Library of Ireland http://www.nli.ie/en/family-history-introduction.aspx
The National Archives UK ? genealogy search: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/records/looking-for-person/
The Public Records Office of Northern Ireland http://www.proni.gov.uk/index/family_history.htm
Genealogy Links: http://www.genealogylinks.net/uk/ireland/dublin/index.html
Irish Times: http://www.irishtimes.com/ancestor/index.htm
Dublin Heritage: www.dublinheritage.ie
Remember to post as much information as you can with regard to the people you are researching, in particular place of origin. The more information you post, the more likely it is that one of our volunteers will be able to advise or assist you. Also include information concerning which sources you may have already used so others may further your search.
Kind regards,
