He lived in Dublin and had two son's Robert Henry Young (born in 1915) who married Edith Emily Moss, and William Young who was younger than him. He also had a daughter, Chrissie Young (born before 1915) who married a man surname of Dennis.
He was a policeman.
He also has a connection to Connemara, not sure how - possibly born there. My mum said Dale / Dail to me, not sure what that might mean.
Many thanks if anyone can enlighten me.

Hi thanks for your message and interest in Ireland Reaching Out.
The Irishtimes is a very useful website for those interested in their family tree. If you follow this link it will bring you to the relevant page for Dublin City: http://www.irishtimes.com/ancestor/browse/counties/leinster/index_du.ht… city
As your great grandfather was born before the Census Records, the best course of action may be to look at Church Records pertaining to the time. The Roman Catholic Records that are available for Dublin CIty can also be found on the Irishtimes website at the following link:
http://www.irishtimes.com/ancestor/fuses/rcparishmaps/index.cfm?fuseact…
If the family followed the Church of Ireland, the records are at
http://ireland.anglican.org/about/42 and http://www.nationalarchives.ie/
With regards to the link to Connemara, I do not know what Dale/Dail may be referring to. You can contact the Galway Family History Society West and perhaps they may be able to help you with this connection. However there may be a fee required for their services. Their contact deatils are:
Ashe Road,
St. Joseph's Community Centre,
Shantalla,
Co. Galway
Phone: (091) 860464 email: galwaywestroots@eircom.net
Other websites that may be helpful to you or at least of interest to you are:
The National Archives of Ireland http://www.nationalarchives.ie/genealogy1/genealogy-records/introduction/
and
The National Library of Ireland http://www.nli.ie/en/family-history-introduction.aspx
I hope this helpful. Remember to post as much information as you can with regard to the people you are researching. The more information you post, the more likely it is that one of our volunteers will be able to advise or assist you. Also include information concerning which sources you may have already used so others may further your search.
Please be patient - as our programme has only begun to rollout across the island of Ireland and volunteers in some areas may not yet be organized.
Kind regards,
