Searching for an ancestor

My great grandfather, Thomas Michael Anderson, was born in Dublin about 1850.He got married in Liverpool in 1884.He was a labourer there and died in 1911.His father was called Edward and I believe he was a solicitors clerk in Ireland in 1884.

I have tried searches on both UK and Irish web sites but found no records of them so any information would be most helpful.

Ages are notoriously unreliable. I have a Thomas b. 1855 to an Edward.
