Looking for my great grandfathers family. He was Christopher Harford b. circa 1847 in County Dublin. I have him listed in Griffiths Valuation in 1870 in Belinstown, Ballyboghil Parish, Balrothery West. He immigrated to New York City in 1872.
He married Mary McMahon in 1874 & named his children James, Thomas, Joseph, & Francis. Hoping he used family names & that I could possibly find a connection.

Griffith?s Valuation is a property valuation that was carried out between the years 1848-1864. I did a search and found the record of a Christopher Harford however the year it was recorded was 1847, which is the year you have given as his birth year:
I was just wondering if you have made an error with the dates? Also, what record do you have from 1870?
