Hello all,
My grandfathers birth certificate states he was born in Ardmore. His name was Thomas Henry Glover his father was Charles Glover and mother was Mary Anne (Nee Nixon). His siblings were John Charles, Sarah Jane Adelaide & George Ernest.
My Grandfather used to 'break horses in' for a big house! (that's all we have been told) He then came to Leeds and married Iris Eva Carter.
We know very little about our Irish ancestry and would love to know more.

The marriage of Charles Glover & Mary Anne Nixon was registered in Enniskillen Jan ? Mar 1898 Volume 2, page 79. If you buy that cert it will give you their fathers names and addresses which may help you trace the family further back.

I can?t see them in the 1901 census. However Agricultural labourers were often on the move and may have bene out of Ireland on census night..
