McTegart/Maguire

Greetings,

I am researching Owen McTegart b. 1800 and Marguerite Maguire b 1805. I believe they married about 1828. Both are Catholic. The first child Owen McTegart b 1829. Owen Sr. Died between 1837-1847.  All I known positively is that they came from Fermanagh and stated on the ship log they were headed to New Albany, Indiana. Owen Jr worked as a bricklayer.

I found a McTegart in the 1833 tithe book but with knowing the age it is difficult to know if it Owen Sr.

I am looking for any information about marraige, baptism or death.  I think Marguerite is the French version of Margaret. Is that a common spelling in Ireland.  The family left for USA in early spring of 1848. That arrived in New Orleans in April 1848. The ship's name was "Eliza" .  What would have been the most probable route for them to board the Ship?  Thank you for your time.
