I am looking for family information about my ancestors --Edward Phair (b. around 1775) whose father is Edward Phaire (b. around 1750). We travelled to Enniskillen and met with a wonderful gentleman in the courthouse who provided us a copy of a marriage certificate of E Phair's son William Fair (b. 1808) but we would appreciate any assistance so that we could extend our family line. Thank you.

hi,
Does the marriage cert. of William PHAIR mention where he lived ??
If it mentions the name of a Townland, it makes searching so much easier.
There were 4 William PHAIRs mentioned the 1858-1860 Griifiths Valuation leasing property in 4 different Townlands in Fermanagh.
There are a couple of William PHAIRs living in the US that were born in 1808.
Did your William emigrate, if so to where ??
Regards,
SEAN

There is a lady researching her PHAIR family, you might want to contact her.
This is the thread http://www.irelandxo.com/node/10410
This is some of what she has found.
James Phair (1815-1883) Source: Ancestry.com. Ireland, Civil Registration Deaths Index, 1864-1958
- Residences in Townlands near Enniskillen 1862-1863. Griffiths Valuation records.
- Another James Phair was b. 1819 (which would make him 15 at Jason's birth). There must have been at least one other who had a life lease in 1828. Unsure if this is the correct James Phair (Phare, Phayer, etc).
- Wife is Rose (source is Groom's (Jason) mother's name -- Rose Phair -- on Sarah Jane Davis Marriage info). Wife's maiden name- Maguire (potential - from unsourced Ancestry.com public tree)
