Will be visiting Enniskillen in May of 2014 and would like to meet relatives. My great grandparents were Emily [born 1883 died 1913] and Robert Conlon [born 1832 died 1923] and my grandfather was William Conlon [born 1860 died 1952] who emigrated to the U.S. in 1885. My grandfather's sister was Minnie Conlon Rutherford.
My name is Carol Ann Conlon Geiger.

In case you don't have the record, below is the 1911 census record for Robert and Emily. They lived in Forthill. Have a great time in Ireland!

Dear Roger,
Thank you so much for the census information. How kind of you. We leave tomorrow for Ireland and I am so looking forward to visiting the land of my ancestors. Will visit the cemetary in Enniskillen as that is where my great grandparents and a son are buried. My husband and I are in our 52 year of marriage and we have one daughter who is named for her great great grandmother Emily. My grandson Thomas, is named in the family tradition as well.
Thank you also for your kind wishes.
Cheers, Carol Ann Conlon Geiger

Dear Carol Ann,
I came across your post on this website yesterday. My name is Billy McNeary and I am the son of Mary Edith (nee Rutherford) McNeary. In the previous post of a photograph of a lady with a child on her lap, the child is my late mother and the lady is Minnie Harriet (nee Conlon) Rutherford my grandmother. I moved from Enniskillen and now live in County Leitrim only a few miles from where the Rutherfords originated from Manorhamilton. I had the good fortune to meet Tommy Conlon as a small boy. Unfortunately both my grandfathers were deceased before I was born. My granny Rutherford lived with us on our farm on the outskirts of Enniskillen. She was a stoic lady and unfortunately was quite deaf. I am afraid I have the same disability which may have been genetic as my Aunt Violet Rutherford was also deaf, a daughter of Minnie's.
I hope you get this message.
Kindest regards,
Billy
