My 2nd great grandfather was Joseph Farrell Gallagher who died 24 Jun 1873 aged 52 years in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is buried at St Michael's Cemetery in Toronto with his wife Mary (nee Judge).
From the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Toronto record of their 11 Jul 1850 marriage, he was noted as the son of Thomas Gallaher and Jane Sharp of Kilsmullan, County Fermanagh.
Name on marriage registration is 'Farrile Gallaher'. In the 1856 Toronto city directory, he is listed as 'Joseph Gallagher', labourer, living on Queen St East. In the 1866 Toronto city directory, he is listed as 'Farrell Gallagher', a labourer living at 311 Queen St East. His tombstone records his name as Joseph Farrell Gallagher.

Have you tried looking for information in Church records in Fermanagh? Most Catholic records are held locally so it may be an idea to write to the local parish priest for possible assistance. One website which you may find useful is the Irish Times where they give an overview of what records are available in specific parishes. For Magheraculmoney parish follow this link:
You can also search for Church records at Family Search. This is a huge database of genealogical records and includes some, but not all, Irish church records. You can search this here:
You may be able to find some record of his family in the land records pertaining to Ireland in the 19th century. There are two:

and Griffith?s Valuation (1848-1864) found at http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/
Civil registration became mandatory in Ireland in 1864.If you know the names of any family members that remained in Ireland you could try searching for them in the indexes to these records at:
