I am looking to connect to descendants of my Grandmothers WILLIAMS family

My Grandmother was Ellen Williams b.1886 in Feagh East (Moyne, Galway).

In 1901 she was living with her Father Patrick, Mother Bridget (Kiggins), and siblings Thomas and Mary.

The 1911 Census shows her Mother had 4 surviving children, I don't know the name of the 4th living child.

Thomas was still on the the farm in 1911, Ellen married my Grandfather John ROCHE and they remained in the area.

Thomas was single in 1911, I don't know if he ever married ??

I don't know what happened to Mary ??

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Hi Sean, I have been searching my grandparents from 13 Feagh East for more than 10 years. I share DNA with family from house 13, Shaughnessy, but I am not sure about the other two Shaughnessy families there. I also share DNA with the Roche family from there. This is the first "real" connection I have had from someone who is also connected to this place, so I just have to make contact.

Are you still searching? I would be interested to know anything you have about the area, the place has long gone now I think, but as it was a close network there were lots of local marriages, and children. Pat Shaughnessy and Mary (Joyce) Shaughnessy 13 Feagh, had 6 children, I think 3 of the girls went to New York, Coleman, Mullins, Shea, Handy, and the names of those in the U.S.

Please reply, so I know you at least have seen this post.

    Kind Regards,
