I am looking for information on the parents of John Kelly and Theresa Headd. John was born around 1875 to Mark Kelly and Mary Mahony. Theresa was born around the same time to Mark Headd and Catherine Kelly. Both father's names could be Martin. I'm just going by what is listed on their death certificates. I have tried for years to locate them. John and Theresa imigrated in 1901. Any help is apprieciated.

  • I too would like some information on the people mentioned in the Kelly/Headd message,  John Kelly is my Grand Uncle and Mark Kelly and Mary Mahoney are my great Grandparents. I am asuming that Mark Kelly is the reason one branch is called the Markies and another is after Martin.  

    I am also trying to find out where my Grandfather, Joseph Murphy is from.  He married Teresa Kelly (Mark and Mary's daughter) here in Boston. He never said exactly where in Roscommon he was from. As you can imagine it is next to impossible to find a Joseph Murphy without more information. I was wondering if perhaps they knew each other before they immigrated. Or if anyone has any more information on him. 

    I know his name was Joseph Martin Murphy B: Roscommon Dec 26, 1874. Married Teresa Kelly M: Aug 25, 1895.  I would also like to know how I can research the parish records on my Mother, Agnes Walsh ancestry. Thank you.

    Came across this message board, Mark + Mary Kelly are my great great grandparents. 

    From my research John had 2 sisters and 2 brothers (Mary and Catherine/ Thomas and Martin)

    I can give dates etc if that would be helpful?
