Would appreciate help obtaining the names of Bridget Flannery's parents from the parish register. According to the Civil Registration Index, Bridget was born in 2Q1883, but her New York records show May of 1884. Her mother's name was Nora.
After Bridget's father died (about 1885) Nora married John Vaughan in 1Q1888. Bridget had a brother John Flannery born about 1Q1886. Thank you for any help / suggestions you might have.

There are actually two civil birth index records in 1883 for a Bridget Flannery in the Scarriff registration district which includes Ogonelloe civil parish. No 1884 records in that registration district for a Bridget Flannery. The first birth is in the second quarter and the other is in the fourth quarter. Likely the 2nd quarter birth is the one you want. If you want a copy of the record which would show the parents names and where they live, go to this link for the GRO http://www.welfare.ie/en/Pages/Apply-for-Certificates.aspx Hit the link for birth certicate in English. You may get a screen asking for a User Name and Password. Hit cancel and the form should appear. Fill out the form and provide the info below ( quarter/year, registration district and volume and page number). Tell the GRO that you want the record for the Bridget whose mother is named Nora. A copy costs around 4 euros. You can also ask the GRO to e-mail the copy back to you.
