William JENNINGS & Eliza / Elizabeth / Betty PELLY had their first child Margaret in 1821 at Lurgan in the Catholic parish of Cappataggle followed by Mary in 1825, Catherine 1826, Thomas 1827, Dolly 1832, Joseph 1834, Catherine 1837, Eliza c1841, Dolly (known as Dorinda) 1842, Anne 1844. Sadly Elizabeth JENNINGS nee PELLY died on 28 Dec 1845. Catherine became a nun in Philadelphia USA and served as a nurse in the American civil war & died in 1931. Dorinda & Eliza emigrated to Australia. Margaret may have married Michael DONAHOE in 1843 in Lurgan Cappataggle.

Hi, There are still a few families of Jennings in that area. In the National census there are Jennings mentioned under Killallaghtan which is quite close to Lurgan.
