Looking for any information on my GGF John Nolan. I have strong oral evidence he wqas from County Galway (DOB abt. 1820). I have no clue as to Parish or Townland. I have a John Nolan Sailing from the port of Galway and landing in NYC 5/13/1848 (Ship Sarah Milledge). I have land records of my John purchasing 120 acres in Spring Valley Township, Rock County, WI in 1850 for $500.00.
Looking for clues for his County Galway origins.
