I do not have much information on my husband's family from Glenville, Cork. Is there a census from the 1880s?
Thank you.

No. Save for a few fragments, there are no Irish censuses before 1901.

Hi Kerry
A few sites you might try if you have not already done so:
There are 322 Moroney birth/baptism records on www.rootsireland.ie/ (a pay site) starting in 1792.
http://ifhf.rootsireland.ie/quis.php?page=1&confirmPageView=Y
There are 160 Moroneys in Cork on www.irishgenealogy.ie/ - a free site.
There are 121 Moroneys in Cork on Family Search (free)
There are 3 Moroney public member trees on ancestry which have Maurice Joseph Moroney born 4 May 1822 in Cork; married Mary Sweeney; parents David Moroney & Johanna Lynch. Is this your line? I am unable to access ancestry at the moment to get any further details.

Yes, Col, the latter info is my husband's line. I will check Ancestry.com now. Thanks
