I am searching for information about the family of Michael Shea and Mary Sheehan. They were married sometime before 1828 in Kilcummin parish. I am aware of three children they had but cannot find birth records: Cornelius (1828), Mary (1838) and Dennis (1839 July 20). I am descended from Dennis. The three children immigrated to Boston then Worcester Massachusetts - Cornelius first (before 1855), Dennis (before 1860). Both were tailors. Mary married Thomas Fenton in Milford Massachusetts in 1864. The family was close with the Daniel Myers family, also from Kilcummin parish.
Is anyone out there related?

Hi Kat,
I wouldn't be surprised if we have a connection. My grand aunt, Eileen Noonan (still alive at 90, and living in her own home alone!) married a Daniel Sheehan. They lived in Worcester, MA for a number of years, and she now lives in Lowell, MA. They have a daughter Eileen, also (and I believe two other children), but I have to look up more details for you. There are a ton of Sheehans here in the lowell/Worcester area.
My Noonan & McGillicuddy relatives were also from Kilcummin and Firies (Tralee) parishes.
