My grandfather was Patrick Hough, son of Thomas Hough and Bridget Horan. He was born in 1866. My great-grandfather, Thomas Hough, was a Herd and was constantly moving about East Galway tending the sheep. My grandfather, Patrick, along with his brother, John, immigrated to the USA around 1890. They had two other brothers, Michael and Thomas Hough. I would enjoy hearing from any Houghs or Horans family. My husband and I walked through Killimor in 2004 and visited the Old Parish Church. It is a lovely town and we enjoyed the people and the countryside. Thank you.

Hello,
Though being very young, I remember being in Flannery's my father in the early 1950s. Being seated in an electrically lighded workroom we awaitedshoe repairs.Later on, when going to school I remember John Flannery's postman's bicycle, parked outside their house, adjacent to the old two story schoolhouse.
though there is only one gravestone bearing Flannery name, in Killimor graveyard, there are five bearing the Keary name.
I am a volunteer with Killimor parishand looking forward to hearing from you
regards
