Dear Friends -- Please forgive the intrusion -- My name is Tim Garrity, from Maine in the United States, and I'd like to get in touch with my Irish cousins, the children of James (Jimmy) Geraghty (Born 28 Aug 1934) and Mary Geraghty (26 May 1935). The children are: Carmel Geraghty( 20 Jul 1965), Paul (19 Mar 1964), Noel (31 Dec 1963), Joseph (18 Aug 1962), Bernadette (17 Feb 1961), Thomas (2 Mar 1960), Patrick (6 Jun 1958), and Ita(20 Jun 1966). Could you tell me please, if any of these Geraghty's are still living near Menlough? I'd like to get in touch with them in advance of a visit to Co. Galway in April. Thanks, Tim Garrity

Dear Tim,
I'm Jim Garrity from New Hampshire (just down the road from you). There are still several names Geraghty in Ballinrooaun (near Menlough) and at least one of them has a Paul, whom I met in 2011 while there. Feel free to call me in NH and I'll tell you what I know. 603-362-9416. My Geraghtys came from Ballinrooaun, but not from the same family as yours.
