I am looking for my gggrandparents, Denis Maloney and Margaret Murray. They had at least 2 children, my ggrandfather Peter Maloney born about July 1, 1845 and Mary Maloney, born about 1849. I have no dates for Denis and Margaret.
Peter Maloney's naturalization papers in Boston, Massachusetts say he was from Galway, Ireland. Peter came to Boston through New York about 1862. I'm not sure when Mary came to Boston. I don't know if they were from Loughrea but I have found Maloney's in the 1901 and 1911 census in Loughrea but I can't make the connection with my family.
Peter married a Sarah Gleason about 1863. I can't find their marriage record anywhere in the Boston area. They settled in the Charlestown district of Boston and had about 11 children; Denis, Thomas, Joseph, Peter, Mary, Sarah, Helen, Richard, Michael, William and Stephen between 1968 and 1883.
Any help you can give me is greatly apprecaited.

I haven't had any luck yet. I'm working on the Catholic registers which just came on line in July. Some are so difficult to read or there are no records for the years I am looking for, but I'll keep trying.

Unfortunately I don't recognize any of your Maloney family. Your are luckiy to know where they came from in County Galway. After about 18 years of searching I still can't find out the townland they lived. Good luck with your search.
