Gorham Family Research

I am researching the ancestral line of my grandmother Catherine Gorman who arrived in Australia c.1881. The marriage recordstates that her parents were Coleman Gorman & Margaret King & she was born in Galway,Galway in c.1861.

Research to date & information from Gorham descendants in Boston indicates that Coleman,Margaret & brothers Coleman & John emigrated to Boston USA c.1882 - 1883. Unfortunately Boston descendants do not have any details suggesting that Catherine was part of this family..

Coleman Gorham Sr. died in Boston in 1888 & the death record states that his parents were Michael & Hannah Gorham. Margaret died in Boston in 1904 & the death record states that her father was John King.

I have received details indicating that a Colman Gouram & Margaret King married 23.3.1855 in the Parish of Carna. Baptism Records indicates that a Catherine Gouran was Baptised 9.7.1855 Carna RC Register 1 P.6 & Colman Gorim was Baptised 17.5.1857 Carna RC Register 1 P.15.

No other birth/baptism record was located covering John.

I would really appreciate any information that provides proof that my grandmother Catherine is part of this family & whether there are any descendants remaining in Galway.
