  • I am searching for information about a Daniel Tracey who emigrated to Canada around 1800; he may have been married to Frances Mahning at the time, I am not sure.  I know there is a Daniel Tracey who emigrated around 1820 from Tipperary with his young brother John and sister; he was a Doctor.  It is easy to get the two confused.  Evelyn Cohoon

  • Hi Evelyn, I am trying to help a friend of mine trace his ancestry we believe is from Co.Galway. The one thing we are sure of is that there Lawrence Treacy is a name that runs in the family.

There could possibly be a connection with Tynagh in Co.Galway and Tipperary?
