looking for information on the O'Donnell family. Bridget O'Donnell was born in Brosna in about 1859. she and her sister (Mrs P. Carroll) came to the San Francisco area. Bridget married Thomas. Ryan in S F in 1884. any info would be greatly appreciated.

www.irishgenealogy.ie is a free Irish government site which has Co. Kerry church records. Unfortunately, Brosna RC records do not begin until 1868 which would be later than Bridget's approximate year of birth. Are you aware of any younger siblings who may have been born 1868 or later?
There are a couple O'Donnell families in the Brosna area in the 1901 census.

The 1852 Griffiths Valuation shows a James O'Donnell in Carrigeenwood townland. Not sure how he might be related to Bridget.

A lot of the O' Donnells came from Coolegrane Brosna Co Kerry, and O' Donnell's Funeral Home Brosna have a connection to all those O' Donnells.
