Did I read somewhere that there are volunteers who will help track down records on ancestors ? If so, how do I get in contact with them ?
Still searching for records on Jeremiah Horan, born early 1828 in CastleIsland.. He married Ellen (probably Cormicon ), but not sure if they were married in Ireland or the USA.. I have checked all of the recommended sites myself; was hoping someone would look in the church records...

Have you tried the site www.irishgenealogy.ie for church records in Kerry. also the site www.rootsireland.ie covers other counties. Look also at www.askaboutireland.ie to search the griffith valuations.
Have you anyidea what was Jeremiahs fathers name?? What were his children called? this may give you a clue about grandparents names.
