John Manning and Elizabeth Cosgrove were married inSt Mary's Church, Dingle on 11 Nov 1849. He was born December 1830 on Green Lane, Dingle, she about 1827 in County Kerry. They had 8 children all born in Dingle: Mary Ann 21 Nov 1850, married John O'Connell in 1872 in NYC and had 5 children, Sara 30 Sep 1852 and this is all I know of her; Michael Joseph 11 Apr 1854 married Mary Gannon in 1887 in NY and had 7 children; Elizabeth 24 Jun 1855 married ? and had 2 children; Thomas M 25 Feb 1858 married Mary McGee in about 1883 in US, had 5 children and died in NYC in 1923; Anna Maria Manning 24 Aug 1859 married George Edward Armstrong and had 13 children of whom 4 lived until adulthood, and died in 1926 in New Jersey I am the descendant of Anna Maria on my mother's side, Frank Elias 12 Feb 1861 and this is all I know of him; Joseph Patrick 27 Mar 1863 and that is all I know. I had a correspondence with Padraig Lynch of St Mary's in the 1990s and was given the Irish information based off a baptismal certificate I had of Anna Maria's. I have been to Dingle once and have been to the genealogical center in Dublin. I would love to know about the rest of the family and have been at this 'brick wall' for quite a while. The Dingle area is beautiful. I look forward to visiting again.
