My ancestor Timothy Sullivan settled in Glencar around 1810. He was from Dromod parish and was of the branch of Sullivans that went by the nickname Feely, Fiely, na Feila, or any other variation. He married Mary Cofffey from Boheeshil, Knockane and they had at least four children.
I'd like to know more about the Feily Sullivans, where the name came from, what is their history. Why would have Timothy Sullivan left Dromod for Glencar?
