Hello members of the Kilcoman Parish,
I am trying to trace the birth of my great, great grandfather, John Boyle who was born in ?1836 in the Parish of Kilcolman, county Kerry. He was a ship's carpenter by trade and married Margaret Drennan in 1863 in Donaghadee, County Tyrone.
I have searched through the Parish record for the yearsz between 1830 -40 but haven't had any luck at locating him there.
Any suggestions you have will be gratefully received.

I also searched www.irishgenealogy.ie and there were no John Boyle baptismal records in Milltown (the RC parish for Kilcolman) around 1836. (Actually, I did not see any Boyle baptismal records in Milltown during that period). I assume you don't have his parents names or names of siblings?
You may want to consider autosomal DNA testing/
