I have been doing genealogical research of my ancestral roots in Ireland.
My Great great grand-father emigrated from Kerry, Ireland around 1891-92 to the United States.
I have confirmation this is him referring to this link from a 1900 census in the US.

Working from this church record I found the pre-formation parish of Glenflesk, called the parish of Killaha, consisted of the following townland Derryreague which lead me to this website.
It would be much appreciated it someone can confirm or point me into the right direction.

My GG grandmother is Bridget Desmond. I know for a fact she is from Cork and according to the US census I am guessing this could be her since she was older than my GG grandfather Patrick.

I have no knowledge of GG grandfather(Patrick)/mother(Bridget) siblings emigrating to the US. I was wondering if there is a way I can maybe find relatives in Ireland that might have remained?
I am planning a trip to Kerry, Ireland and it would be great if I can reconnect with a family member(s) I am related to. I would like to show my son where his roots are which would be a magical experience if it is at all plausbile. The trip itself would be fun anyway though being in the actual area.
