Trying to understand which district would births, deaths and such would be filed in for townland of Marhin. Trying to track down my Great, great grandparents, Michael Fitzgerald and mary Sullivan. Found hits on irish geneolgy web site but some of the documents are filed in Tralee, would this make sense for someone from Marhin? Any help would be appreciated.

Townland of Marhin, in the civil parish of the same name is listed under Dingle Civil Registration District (Superintendent Registrars District) in my sources. Some of the areas may have changed slightly over the years, so might depend sightly on the timeframe you are interested in.
Tralee and Dingle civil registration districts border each other, and events were supposed to be registered in the district in which they took place, rather than where the people lived .. which can account for different districts being recorded on occasion.
Note that some of the details on the Irish Genealogy website are for church records, which use parishes, and these can have the same names as civil registration districts but cover different areas compared to the civil district of the same name.
