  • Hi Paul,

You and I have already talked by phone and via e-mail. My great great grandmother was Mary Corridan who was married to Edmond/Edward Barrett...they lived in various townlands around Listowel. Edmond died in 1909 and Mary died in 1915 or 1916...I believe that they are buried in Finuge..

  • Hello Paul,

I am Mary Connick, granddaughter of Mary Corridan Bates, whose father was Maurice, son of Patrick Coridan. My grandmother visited the Corridan family as a teenager, just before WW1.

Also, it may be that I met you in Spring of 1988, if you were living with Dr Robert in Listowel at the time. Dr Robert gave me a lot of information, & took the time to write down a lot of family names (& took me to lots & lots of graves LOL).

I see you posted long ago; it would be nice to speak further.  Best wishes.

  • Greetings!

My records indicate that my great great grandfather was John Corridan, who lived in Kerry (possibly Listowel) in the early 1800s. His children included my great grandfather Michael (who moved to the Massachusetts in the United States around 1870), another son who raised his family in Ontario, Canada, and possibly another son Eugene who also went to Massachusetts.

If you or your colleagues have any pertinent information, I would love to learn more.

Thank you and have a great day.

    Christopher Corridan
