Born abt 1861 Tralee, Kerry, Ireland. Mother's name Bridget, father's name Daniel. Father's occupation: farmer. Catherine arrived in New Zealand in 1881 or 1882. She married William Dorward on 16 Oct 1886. I am searching for any information about her or her family.

A search of Subscription sites www.rootsireland.ie and www.findmypast did not show a "Catherine/Kate McCarthy" in the area of Tralee with the mother - Bridget.
The name Daniel McCarthy was quite common in the Tralee area in the mid 1800's. Can you find out the surname of Catherine's mother.
I attach a record of the birth of a William Dorward in 1887. Mother's name - Catherine - Father's name William. I did not find the marriage record for William and Catherine.
