I'm trying to track down the parents of Martin Carr b. c1797 in Co Kildare and d. 1868 in Maddenstown and his wife Esther Dowling b. c.1805 in Co Kildare and d. 1871 in Maddenstown. They raised at least eight sons in the Suncroft and Maddenstown area. Most of them emigrated to the US. No daughters have been discovered at ths time. The only son known to remain in Co Kildare is James, m. Marcella Merin and whose daughter Esther Maria Carr married Thomas Burke. I am also an autosomal DNA match to a Connor/Dowling tester. Locating the parents of Esther Dowling may help me make this connection. Thanks so much in advance. Joe

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I checked the subscription site Roots Ireland and did not find a baptismal record for Martin Carr in Co. Kildare. The earliest Esther Dowling record was in 1829. The baptismal records for Suncroft RC parish start in 1806 so likely as you indicated both were born before 1806 and no record is available. https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0733
I checked the 1826 Tithe records in Co. Kildare and found Martin listed in Maddenstown. The copy is somewhat faint but it appears he leased around an acre of land.

Roger,
Thank you so much for checking this out for me. These two families have proved to be quite a challenge.
