Any members of my Jackson family i would like to hear from you. There are Jacksons still living there. Also the extended family. My Gret grandfather was a Robert Jackson who's parents were John and Margaret Jackson.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Unfortunately we do not yet have a volunteer in Donaghmore. Have you tried searching Ancestry.com for any mention of your ancestor?s name in member family trees or messages? I would also suggest contacting anyone of the family name you can find in the online phone book to see if they are connected or could help you.
Let us know how you get on

Hi there, I know this is an old post but I couldn't help but jump in. I am researching my family history and have found that i am a descendant of Robert Jackson, born in Donaghmore about 1844 and died in South Australia. He married Eliza Simms and had a big family. His daughter, Sarah Jane Jackson, is my great great grandmother.
Sadly I don't know too much about the Jackson family, or what anyone other than Robert's son Louis and grandson Arthur look like.
I would love to get in touch if that was alright :)
Kind regards, Bonney
