I'm doing research for someone. A Patrick Brogan (c. 1873) married Margaret Connoly in 1902 in Donegal. They lived in Drumbar, Donegal. Patricks father was also named Patrick and his mother Catherine, however I don't know her surname.coild you help me with this? Also, Margaret's father was named Bernard Connoly. She was born about 1876 and lived in Gregstown. Might you have any more info on this? Thank you.

    There were a good number of Patrick Brogan civil birth records in Co. Donegal around 1873. The closest in the Donegal registration district was in 1870. Drumbar is in the civil parish of Donegal as is Gregstown. You can get a copy of the record which should show the parents names from the General Register Office for around 4 euros.

    RC church records for the area start in 1872.

    I did find a possible civil death index record for Bernard Connolly in 1891 (see below).

    I assume you have the 1901 and 1911 census records for the families?
