Tracking my maternal Great Grandfather Michael O'Farrell from County Kildare (who married Clara I presume in the 19th century). The only info I have been given is from County Kildare in the middle of the 19th century. My maternal Grandfather was born in Manchester in 1880 something and dropped the O' from the surname. My paternal ancestors are all Yankee descendants in the Buell lineage.

I have been asked to look at unanswered queries and here is yours from eons ago, firstly the "O" in Irish names is a movable feast, McLysaghts says only 5% of names had the O circa 1860 I think but with the rise of land wars and nationalist ideals the number swelled, in my own case I found it in recent times then it was gone but earlier again it was in.
I can find no marriage of a Michael Farrell to a Clara in Ireland from 1800 to 1890, but in Kildare in 1837, not sure how the date fits there is a marriage of a Michael Farrell to a Marcella Monaghan, no parents given, not unusual when the people were poor, witnesses were Thomas McNally and Catherine Heavy and a 3rd witness was listed as Mary Heavy, assume Heavy is now Heavey. The parish was Maynooth and the date 27th Nove 1837. You can probably see the actual entry here https://registers.nli.ie/ You can only search by parish, event and date then read if you can decipher it, can be tricky.
