Thomas Collins and wife Bridgid nee McMahon arrived in Port Fairy vic australia with family in 1854. Their daughter Bridgid is my g/grandmother. They came from Clare is all I know,anybody any more information on this family. Hoping! Patricia S.

You posted in the Kilrush parish page so I'm going to presume they came from that parish. Church records for that parish are not online currently. On July 8th the National Library of Ireland plans to place all RC parish registers online for free searching. Kilrush is in the Diocese of Killaloe. Records start in 1827 with a 13 month gap as indicated below. Hopefully, you can locate some information possibly the marriage record.
